Expert Tips

Omit chicken and replace with chopped squash for a vegetarian variation of this dish.

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  • 2 Unroll 2 crescent triangles and spread them out to form 1 square. Place 1/4 cup chicken, a few strips of poblano pepper and 1 tablespoon of cheese in the center of the square.
  • 3 Pinch together the corners of the dough square to form a pouch with chicken, peppers and cheese filling. Repeat the above steps to form 4 pouches.
  • 4 Place dough pouches on a baking tray 2 inches apart. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 5 Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with remaining cheese for garnish.
