Expert Tips

Add the dried fruits you prefer, like coconut or pineapple.

Cereals shouldn't be limited to a bowl of milk, nor to breakfast. They're an amazing ingredient, together with dried fruits and a bit of honey, to prepare energy bars. This time I used Fiber One™ cereals with dried apricots, nuts and sunflower seeds. You'll be surprised with the results: a simple combination of ingredients turns into an amazing snack! Which other fruit would you add?

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • 2 Dice apricots.
  • 3 In a deep bowl, combine all ingredients.
  • 4 Line a baking sheet with non-stick paper. Lightly grease the baking sheet with oil and put all the ingredients over it.
  • 5 With a spatula, carefully spread the mix.
  • 6 Bake for around 20 minutes or until it sets.
  • 7 Once ready, remove from oven. Let cool and cut in long strips.
  • 8 Serve and enjoy!
