Expert Tips

Serve with dulce de leche or chocolate syrup.

Directions

  • 1 Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • 2 Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
  • 3 Open the crescents and extend the dough on the counter. Use your fingers to seal the perforations and create one large rectangle.
  • 4 Cover the dough in butter and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon.
  • 5 Cut into 12 strips.
  • 6 Fold 6 of the strips in half. This will be the mummy bodies.
  • 7 Use the other 6 strips to wrap the mummies.
  • 8 Cut the raisins in half and use them as eyes.
  • 9 Bake for 20-22 minutes or until browned.

Halloween is just around the corner and so are the costume parties with friends. I like preparing simple, easy and quick holiday themed recipes. No need for anything too complicated. This year I made these delicious churro flavored mummies. You can serve them with chocolate sauce or dulce de leche.
