Expert Tips

You can add a little coarse salt over each apple slice.

Directions

  • 1 Slice the apples into rounds. You can sprinkle them with a little lemon juice so they don’t turn brown.
  • 2 Spread a little honey on each slice and as much brie as you’d like. Add a little more honey and top with a little cereal.
  • 3 Serve cold.

My favorite summer recipes tend to be the ones that use few ingredients and don’t require any baking. One such recipe, and my favorite whenever I have guests, is the one for these wholesome and delicious apples that can be ready in a few minutes with just a couple of ingredients. For this recipe, I decided to use Fiber One™ cereal for a crunchy texture that goes great with the cheese and apple flavors. I used green apples but you can use red ones, if you prefer.
