In the evening I usually only have about 30 minutes to make dinner and some days I don’t even have the time to stop to buy hamburger buns. This is why I always have a can a Pillsbury™ Grands!™ in the refrigerator. This time, I’ve replaced hamburger buns with delicious flaky biscuits and had a great result. Ingredients

can Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Homestyle refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

lb ground beef
8
slices of cheese
2
teaspoons coarse salt
1/4
teaspoon cumin
1/4
teaspoon garlic powder
1
tablespoon oil

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the biscuits on a baking dish side by side in the middle of the dish, this way they only brown on the top and bottom. Bake for 18 minutes.

    Place the meat in a bowl and sprinkle with salt, cumin and garlic. Mix well with your hands and divide into 8 equal portions. Shape them into hamburger patties.

    Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and add the burgers. I made 4 at a time and cook 4 minutes on both sides.

    Once the biscuits are baked, remove them from the oven and cut them in half with a knife. Fill each on with a burger, cheese and any toppings you like.

    Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

  • You can also serve all the ingredients separately to allow each person to make their own burger.
