Like busy mothers we’re always looking for simple snack recipes that our kids will love. This is why I’m suggesting these tasty rolls filled with cheese, Canadian bacon and pineapple chunks. This treat was inspired by Hawaiian pizza and everyone who’s tried these rolls has been very happy with the results. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

can Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Homestyle Butter Tastin'™ refrigerated biscuits
8
slices of Canadian bacon
1
cup shredded cheddar cheese
8
bits of pineapple in syrup
1
egg, beaten
1
tablespoon Italian seasoning (oregano, marjoram, basil, rosemary and thyme)

    Open the Grands!™ and separate the biscuits. Use your hands to extend the dough to make small tortillas.

    Fill the center with a slice of Canadian bacon, a piece of pineapple in syrup and shredded cheese. Close and form a roll. Do this with the rest of the biscuits and place each roll in a round, greased baking dish. Paint the surface of the rolls with the whipped egg and sprinkle with Italian spices and a bit of shredded cheese.

    Bake at 375°F for 30 to 40 minutes or until browned and the dough is cooked. Serve with milk or your favorite warm beverage.

Expert Tips

  • You can use smoked turkey or only cheese instead of the Canadian bacon.
