Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 10 corn tortillas, cut into 8
  • 1 jar (2 cups) of green sauce
  • 2 cups shredded leftover turkey
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mexican cream or sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  • 1
Heat the oil in a medium pan over medium heat.
  • 2
Fry the tortillas little by little for about 2 minutes each, until they brown lightly. Place on a dish with paper towels.
  • 3
Get rid of the rest of the oil and heat the green sauce in the same pan with the turkey. Season with salt and pepper. Add the tortillas and let cook for 3-5 minutes or until they're crunchy.
  • 4
Remove from the heat and serve immediately with crumbled queso fresco, cilantro and Mexican cream.
