Chocolate has always been my most desired antidepressant. The theobromine found in chocolate is responsible for the feelings of pleasure I experience when consuming this treat, which is why I use it to combat sadness. We can make the most of this wonderful treat by preparing a tres leches cake with a special ingredient: chocolate!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chocolate milk
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup cream

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  • 2
    Mix the Betty Crocker™ cake mix, eggs, water and oil in a deep bowl.

    Grease a baking dish and pour the mixture in there.

    Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.

    Let cool for 10 minutes and then poke the surface all over with a fork.

    Separately, mix the chocolate milk, condensed milk and cream to then pour this mixture onto the cake.

    Refrigerate for about one hour.
  • 8
    Serve with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate powder.

    You can add cocoa powder to regular milk in order to create the chocolate milk.
