Ingredients

  • 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 12 teaspoons strawberry marmalade or jam

Directions

  • 1
You'll also need 12 plastic sticks or skewers.
  • 2
Pre-heat your oven to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 3
Next, open the box of pie crusts and carefully unroll from the packaging without breaking. Set one pie crust over a clean, lightly floured surface. Using a round cookie-cutter (about 3in.) stamp out 12 circles. Afterward, gather the scraps together and roll-out once again to cut more circles.
  • 4
Now beat the egg and water together in a small bow. Set aside.
  • 5
To create a mini pie, take one circle of dough and place a wooden skewer in the middle. Using a pastry brush or your finger, paint the border of the circle with the egg mixture.
  • 6
Then spoon a little strawberry jam (1 tsp.) over the middle. Finally, place another circle of dough on top and lightly press down around the edges. Just as you would for a large pie, seal the border of each crust with a fork.
  • 7
Place the finished pop over the prepared baking sheet and continue until all the dough has been used. For a nice, shiny crust brush the surface of each pie with the remaining egg glaze.
  • 8
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden-brown.
