Sangria is a treat I enjoy all year long. This beverage is appropriate for any time of year because you can adapt it to any type of climate. It’s also very easy to make and very refreshing. This berry sangria is very colorful and delicious. The recipe calls for strawberries and blackberries, and makes for a unique addition to the Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles of white wine (Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1/2 cup strawberry juice
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced in half
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar, or to taste
  • Ice, to taste

Directions

    In a large pitcher, add the lemon slices, strawberries and blackberries.

    Add the wine, juice and ice
  • 3
    Refrigerate before serving.

    If you’d prefer, you can use raspberries, cherries and orange slices. Or you can add your favorite fruits, depending on the season.
