Expert Tips

You can substitute cranberries for apricots or other dried fruits.

This rice is the perfect complement to grilled fish or white meat. I bet you’ll love its combination of sweet raisins and cranberries with pine nuts. And best of all, its preparation is quick and simple.

You can use saffron, but if you don't have any you can also use seasoning with saffron.

Directions

  • 1 Heat the oil in a skillet.
  • 2 Sauté the onion over low heat until it’s caramelized.
  • 3 Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  • 4 Add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • 5 Add the chicken broth and rice.
  • 6 When the broth starts to reduce, add the nuts and saffron.
  • 7 Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, or until rice is well cooked.

This rice is the perfect complement to grilled fish or white meat. I bet you’ll love its combination of sweet raisins and cranberries with pine nuts. And best of all, its preparation is quick and simple.
