Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 lb ground pork
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 3 tablespoons sofrito
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olives
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning with annatto seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 cup water
  • White rice, to taste, to garnish

Directions

  • 1
    Heat the oil over medium-high heat on a large skillet.

    Add meat, season to taste with salt and pepper and stir to cook evenly.

    Add the other ingredients and cook for 20 minutes.

    Serve with white rice.
