One of my favorite dishes to make when I’m cooking for my family is this Baked Chicken and Potatoes recipe. It’s delicious and versatile because it can be combined with many different ingredients. Glazing the chicken with lemon and garlic butter gives it an exquisite flavor and provides irresistible results. Serve it with potatoes and other vegetables and you can enjoy a full meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 4 chicken legs
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 5 potatoes, cut in halves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • 2
    Melt the butter in the microwave and mix with the crushed garlic.
  • 3
    Place the chicken in a baking pan and pour the lemon juice over it.
  • 4
    Put the potatoes in the same pan and apply the garlic and butter mix to all of the ingredients.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Put in the oven for approximately 20 minutes and then cover the pan with aluminum foil.

    Bake for another 10 minutes until the chicken and potatoes are completely cooked.

    Serve on a tray and garnish with slices of lemon.
