My favorite winter recipes are those that are cooked over low heat and with lots of attention, but we don’t always have that kind of time and once in a while we have to cook something quick. Today we’re going to learn how to make pasta with broccoli and chorizo, a recipe that’s perfect for lunch or dinner. It’s very easy to prepare, it’s delicious and only requires three ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 4 chorizos, shredded
  • 1 lb pasta
  • 7 oz of Cascadian Farm™ frozen organic broccoli florets

Directions

  • 1
    Cook the pasta as per their instructions and save half of the water in which it was cooked.
  • 2
    Add the shredded chorizo to a non-stick pan. Cook for 5 minutes or until browned.
  • 3
    Add the broccoli, the pasta and the water. Stir and cook at high heat for 5 minutes or until the broccoli is hot.
