Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • 2 Spray an 8x8 inch baking pan with non stick cooking spray.
  • 3 Prepare sugar cookie mix as directed on package.
  • 4 Mix in lemon zest, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Spread batter evenly in pan, bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly brown and until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • 5 Remove from oven, cool completely.
  • 6 While cookie bar cool, mix together cream cheese frosting and dried fruit. Once cookie bars have cooled completely, frost evenly with frosting and garnish with chopped pecans.
