Expert Tips

Pandebonos are cheese breads that are traditional in my country. They're the perfect snack for any time of day, especially as lunch or dinner with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. Though their preparation is quite simple, they're actually somewhat hard to find outside of the Country, but making them at home is a great option! In Colombia, you can find the pandebono flour on sale. Those of us who live elsewhere, we need to find different ways to prepare them like this recipe.

Directions

  • 1 Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • 2 Add all the ingredients to a bowl except the milk. Mix with your hands until the ingredients are well combined.
  • 3 Add the milk little by little, mixing until the dough is soft. Create little balls and place them on a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  • 4 Bake for 20 minutes or until the pandebonos begin to rise and brown. Serve hot.
