Today we’re whipping up a bite-sized version of that Southern classic delight, strawberry shortcake, by transforming it into cake pops. Fun times!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped strawberries
  • 2 cups angel food cake, diced
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • Wooden sticks
  • Sprinkles

Directions

    In a bowl mix together strawberries, angel food cake and frosting until well combined.

    Lightly dampen hands and roll mixture into 1 inch balls.

    Insert wooden stick into each ball and place in freezer to set, about 30 minutes.

    Melt white chocolate in microwave until smooth.
  • 5
    Dip pops into melted chocolate to coat, place on serving tray and decorate with sprinkles.

    Chill in fridge until ready to serve.

    Swap it out: Add a touch of chocolate to this dessert by mixing in mini chocolate chips or dipping them in semi-sweet chocolate instead of white chocolate.
