Directions

  • 1 In 3-quart saucepan, heat brown sugar over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted. Remove from heat; gradually stir in water. (If sugar should harden, it will dissolve during cooking.) Stir in coffee, tea, chocolate, cloves and cinnamon. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes.
  • 2 Stir in vanilla; strain coffee through 2 thicknesses of cheesecloth. Serve immediately.
