Surprise the kids with a delicious snack to celebrate Spring’s arrival. Flowerpot sundaes served in small flower pots that are fun, festive, and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 small 4 inch flower pot, washed
  • 1 cup Cheerios™ cereal MultiGrain
  • 22 chocolate sandwich cookies
  • Ice cream of choice, softened
  • Gummy worms

Directions

    Remove top half of two chocolate sandwich cookies and place on bottom of flowerpot to cover the drain hole.

    In a food processor pulse the Multi Grain Cheerios™ to break them up, place in bowl; set aside. Place chocolate sandwich cookies in food processor along with the two top halves of cookies used and process until finely ground.

    Divide grounds in two batches. Divide one batch evenly between the two flower pots, then add a layer of softened ice cream and place in freezer to set, about twenty minutes.

    Once ice cream is set, add the remaining batch of ground chocolate cookies and return to freezer to set, about ten minutes.

    When ready to serve top with crumbled Multi Grain Cheerios™ and gummy worms.
