Halloween is just around the corner, and that’s why I’m here to teach you how to make these spooky bat shaped Halloween sandwiches made with black bread. These delicious sandwiches are great for this time of year. You can put them in the kids’ lunchboxes or you can just serve them as a snack in the middle of the afternoon. I decided to use a cream made with yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup. Also, I added eyeballs on them for an extra Halloween touch, but that’s totally up to you. These sandwiches are delicious, and you can make them in just a few minutes. Your children will love them!

Ingredients

  • Black bread (rye bread)
  • 1/2 cup Yoplait® Greek plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • Maple syrup to taste

Directions

  • 1
In a bowl, mix yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup. Stir until you get a homogeneous mix.
  • 2
Spread some of the mix on the bread as you would with any other sandwich.
  • 3
Cut the bread using a bat-shaped sandwich cutter.
  • 4
Using some of the spread, place the eyes on the bats so they don’t move. And that’s pretty much it, now you can just enjoy them.
