Expert Tips

You can add bacon, cooked ham or cooked turkey.

We love cheese in my house. We enjoy it salads, cold and hot recipes, and even in the morning with a cup of coffee. It's almost a ritual that we prepare delicious sandwiches on weekends for lunch or late Saturday dinners. I'm always searching for new combinations of ingredients to try!

You can also use provolone, fontina, or yellow cheese slices.

Directions

  • 1 Heat the Panini press to medium-low heat. If you don't have a Panini press you can use a saucepan. If you chose to prepare it in a saucepan, just sprinkle a little baking spray on the surface.
  • 2 Spread butter on the bread, add the cheese and avocado, then toast for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
