Expert Tips

It's easy to make this a main-dish salad. Just add 2 cups cut-up cooked chicken, ham or crabmeat.

Make the salad a day ahead, omitting the lettuce, croutons and Parmesan topping. Stir in these remaining ingredients just before serving.

Directions

  • 1 Cook, drain and rinse pasta as directed on box. Meanwhile, in large bowl, stir together seasoning mix, cold water and oil.
  • 2 Add drained pasta and remaining ingredients to seasoning mixture. Toss with croutons and Parmesan topping. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving time.
