Expert Tips

You can make several pairs with the rest of the brownies.

Directions

  • 1 Bake the brownies as per their instructions, let cool a bit.
  • 2 Use the cookie cutter to cut out 2 egg shapes pieces from the mold.
  • 3 Open and unroll the Fruit by the Foot™ in red and blue. Cut decorative strips out of each color to decorate the maracas (brownies). Place them over the brownies to double check the fir before adding the frosting.
  • 4 Once your designs are ready, set them aside and cover each maraca with white frosting.
  • 5 Place the Fruit by the Foot™ designs on top of each maraca.
  • 6 Wrap each pretzel stick in red Fruit by the Foot™ then with blue Fruit by the Foot™, leaving spaces of red in between.
  • 7 Insert the sticks into the bottom of the maraca (flip the egg shaped brownie upside down) and you’re ready to go!
