Expert Tips

You can mix up the colors of the flowers according to your taste.

Hispanic Heritage Month should be celebrated fully and these treats depicting the colors of the Costa Rican, Honduran, Salvadoran, Nicaragua and Guatemalan flags are a great way to do that. They’re pretty and perfect to decorate any Hispanic Heritage celebration.

Directions

  • 1 Open and unroll the Fruit Roll-Ups™ and cut out the red strips.
  • 2 Wrap the largest 5 cookies in the red.
  • 3 Once they’re wrapped, wrap the border again with a strip of red to create a petal. Set them aside.
  • 4 Open and unroll the blue Fruit Roll-Ups™, wrap the other large five cookies in blue.
  • 5 Wrap the borders again with blue strips to create the petals.
  • 6 Cover the small cookies in frosting.
  • 7 Dust some blue sprinkles on the little cookies.
  • 8 Create the flowers using the frosted cookie as the middle and the wrapped cookies as the petals. 5 per flower.
  • 9 Finally, unroll the green Fruit Roll-Ups™ and use to make the stems.
