Ingredients

  • 6 slices of sandwich bread
  • 6 slices of ham
  • 6 slices of cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Sugar and cinnamon, to taste

Directions

    Remove bread crust and use a rolling pin to flatten the slices of bread.

    Place one slice of ham and one of cheese over bread.
  • 3
    Add a little cheddar cheese in the middle.
  • 4
    Roll up the slices of bread with ham and cheese, pressing just slightly so the rolls can hold their shape.

    Whisk the egg with the little bit of milk. Coat each roll in the egg mixture.

    Melt butter in a frying pan and cook the rolls.
  • 7
    Remove from heat when they turn golden and the cheese has completely melted.

    Serve and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
