Expert Tips

For a lower sugar option, leave out the raisins.

To make it sweeter, add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.

Directions

  • 1 Add the dates and raisins to a food processor and process until you only have a few large pieces left.
  • 2 Add the rest of the ingredients (except chocolate chips) and process until everything is well combined. Add the chocolate chips and combine.
  • 3 Spread out the dough on a baking tray. Freeze for 30-60 minutes to harden. Remove from freezer and cut into squares. Serve or keep frozen until ready to serve.

These bites are super easy to make. They’re ideal for everyone and any occasion: they are packed with energy, are delicious, and kids love them! This is my favorite recipe because it has some of my favorite ingredients: chocolate, dates and a combination of super seeds. Try it!
