If you can’t find cinnamon Chex™, use Corn Chex™ or Rice Chex™ and add a little extra ground cinnamon.

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • 2 Add cereal to a large glass bowl.
  • 3 Lightly spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
  • 4 In a pot, combine brown sugar, butter, 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon and water. Set on the stove on medium-high heat, and stir constantly to combine the ingredients and let boil for 1 minute. Turn off the heat, add vanilla, stir and immediately pour over the cereal.
  • 5 Transfer the cereal to the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until you see the syrup starts to boil.
  • 6 Remove from oven, sprinkle with sugar and let cool completely.
  • 7 Break apart the cereal pieces and enjoy!
