Crepes Filled with Banana, Hazelnut Cream and Nuts

This may be the ideal dessert to celebrate Easter with your family. Crepes are one of the easiest desserts to prepare, are very versatile and you can fill them with various sweet or savory ingredients. Just reduce or add salt or sugar while also adding a different touch with cinnamon, vanilla or other spices that go according to how you prepare them at that time.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick™ Original baking mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 bananas, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 cup hazelnut cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Chocolate Syrup

Directions

    Beat the egg and mix the milk, Bisquick, cardamom, sugar and salt in a bowl.

    In a saucepan or crepe maker, add 1/4 of the mixture to the saucepan until the surface is completely covered. Once ready, flip over and remove. You can start stacking them on a dish or preparing them little by little before serving.

    Once the crepes are ready, add a spoonful of hazelnut cream, a few slices of banana and half a teaspoon of nuts.
  • 4
    Fold the crepes in half and then again down the middle. Drizzle some chocolate syrup and sprinkle a few nuts.

    You can substitute the banana for strawberries or any other fruit of your choice.
