Expert Tips

You can add diced pieces of your favorite cheese.

This cold pasta salad with tuna and vegetables is delicious and very easy to make! My mom would make it often, but would change it a bit to make it with chicken, but her tuna version was always our favorite. I remember always having it around when we went to the beach or pool. My mom's original recipe used mayo and lime, but to give it a more nutritious twist, I like to use Greek Tzatziki sauce. The truth is that it tastes much better and is perfect for anyone who can't eat mayonnaise like my youngest daughter. Enjoy!

You can also use chicken or shrimp.

Directions

  • 1 Open the cans of tuna and strain the liquid. Set aside.
  • 2 Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl until everything is well combined.
  • 3 Keep in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve.
