Expert Tips

You can store the nests for up to 3 days in a vacuum-sealed container.

Every Easter Sunday I prepare a special recipe for the kids. This year I’ll be making bird’s nest cookies; they’re so easy that they don’t require more than 10 minutes to make. They look great and everyone loves them!

Directions

  • 1 Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  • 2 Prepare a mini-muffin tray with baking spray.
  • 3 Cut each cookie in 3 and place one piece in each muffin cup.
  • 4 Lightly flatten.
  • 5 Bake for 10 minutes.
  • 6 Carefully remove from the oven and place 3 mini eggs on each cookie.
  • 7 Bake for 3 more minutes; the cookie should be golden brown.
  • 8 Let cool on a rack for 10 minutes.
  • 9 Remove from the cup and serve.
