Expert Tips

You can use white chocolate instead of dark chocolate.

This dessert is another way to enjoy chocolate truffles or brigadeiros, as they're called in Brazil. In the original recipe, you have to form little balls that you roll over chocolate sprinkles or powdered cocoa. In this version, I added my own touch by including Chocolate Cheerios™ and serving the truffles in little cups. That way, I get a more elegant dessert that's easy to make! These truffles are perfect for children birthday parties, for adults or for an afternoon with friends.

Directions

  • 1 Mix the condensed milk with chocolate and butter in a non-stick pan.
  • 2 Cook on low, constantly stirring with a wooden spoon, for 15 minutes. The preparation will start becoming shiny, and that will mean it's ready.
  • 3 Remove from heat and pour the mix into little cups.
  • 4 Let cool completely before garnishing with Chocolate Cheerios™ and sprinkles.
  • 5 Serve and enjoy!
