Expert Tips

Store the remaining crepes in a sealable plastic bag in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Directions

  • 1 For the crepes: Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until you achieve a homogeneous consistency. Allow to cool in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • 2 Heat a non-stick saucepan over medium-low heat. Cover in spray butter. Pour 1/4 cup of the mixture in the middle of the pan and move it around to cover the whole pan. Cook for around 30-45 seconds, or until the sides start to peel off. Turn and cook for 10 seconds. Place the crepe in a dish and repeat with the rest of the preparation. Allow to cool.
  • 3 For the filling: To plate, spread 1 tablespoon of the hazlenut and cocoa spread on the crepe and place strawberry slices on top.
  • 4 Fold each crepe by half, and half again to cover the filling. Top with chocolate sauce if you wish.

My entire family loves crepes, especially the sweet ones! In this recipe, I filled them with chocolate and strawberries, but you can use different fruits for an unlimited number of combinations. One of my favorite combinations includes cream cheese and guava jelly. They are not only easy to prepare, but also quite convenient. Enjoy!
