Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2 cups marshmallow cream (Marshmallow Fluff)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
  • 1-2 cups of miniature marshmallows for garnish (optional)

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cover two round 9-inch baking molds in cooking spray and set aside.

    Prepare the cake mixture as per its instructions.

    Distribute the mixture equally into the 2 molds. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cakes are completely cooked. Remove from the oven and let cool.

    Prepare the marshmallow filling:

    Use an electric mixer at medium speed to combine the butter and marshmallow fluff until it's soft and creamy, about 3-4 minutes. Slowly add the powdered sugar and keep mixing for 30-60 seconds until well incorporated.

    Once the cakes are cool, spread the marshmallow filling over the surface of one of the cakes. Cover with the other cake. Cover the surface of the top cake with chocolate frosting and decorate with more marshmallows, if you like.
