Expert Tips

You can prepare the nuggets in advance and keep them in the freezer.

If there's one dish that never fails with my kids it's chicken nugget, they love them! Whenever we pass by a fast food restaurant, they always want to go in to order up some nuggets with a side of French fries. I prefer preparing them at home in order to control the ingredients that go in to the food my kids eat. These chicken nuggets are the perfect recipe for preparing something special for the little ones in the house. My kids go crazy with this recipe and the best part is that you know your kids are getting a nutritious meal.

Directions

  • 1 Preheat the oven 425°F. Use cooking spray to cover the surface.
  • 2 Pour the olive oil into a bowl with the paprika and cumin. Put the bread crumbs in another bowl.
  • 3 Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then place it on the bowl with the olive oil and mix well.
  • 4 Dust the chicken in the bread crumb mix and place on a baking pan. Sprinkle the surface lightly with oil and bake for 7 minutes.
  • 5 Flip the nuggets to cook on the other side, cook for another 5 minutes or until ready.
