Directions

  • 1 Preheat the oven (broil) to 550°F.
  • 2 Mix the garlic, olive oil and salt in a small bowl.
  • 3 Cut the baguette into slices and place them in a baking tray.
  • 4 Use a brush to moisten the slices of bread with the oil and garlic mixture. Bake the bread for 1-2 minutes on each side or until they've browned. The bread should be toasted on the outside, but soft in the middle.
  • 5 Place 1 spoonful of chicken and 3 grape halves on each slice of bread. Then, cover each slice with two tablespoons of cheese.
  • 6 Place the tray in the oven again for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
  • 7 Serve the bruschetta on a dish and sprinkle with chives and pepper.

This recipe, a variation of traditional bruschetta, uses grapes. Grapes are a delicious fruit and the perfect addition to salty dishes. These bruschetta are the perfect appetizer for a family reunion or friendly gathering. If you like grapes as much as I do, then I hope you enjoy this recipe!
