Expert Tips

Add a few slices of fresh ginger before muddling for a unique spicy flavor.

Fruity sangria is always a welcomed and refreshing beverage at any brunch table or garden party. I love the combination of cherries and nectarines with white wine because it not only looks colorful and beautiful for the gathering, but is also delicious and pairs perfectly with sandwiches and salads.

Directions

  • 1 In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • 2 In a large pitcher combine mint and syrup. Add fruit and vodka. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
  • 3 To serve, add wine to the fruit/vodka mixture, stir and serve chilled or over ice.

Fruity sangria is always a welcomed and refreshing beverage at any brunch table or garden party. I love the combination of cherries and nectarines with white wine because it not only looks colorful and beautiful for the gathering, but is also delicious and pairs perfectly with sandwiches and salads.
