Expert Tips

A mixed-greens tossed salad with Italian dressing is perfect to serve with this hearty dish.

Directions

  • 1 Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
  • 3 Reduce heat to medium. Stir cold-pack cheese food, milk and garlic salt into beef; continue stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is well blended. Stir in pasta and tomato. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese; cover and heat 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
