This time of year offers us a variety of different kinds of apples. At home we like to eat the fresh and in syrup. In the morning we enjoy a nutritious apple snack served with yogurt and cereal. This is why I've created this delicious and nutritious recipe to take to work or school. This shake is easy to make and will satisfy your hunger in the morning, during the day or in the afternoon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked apples or in syrup, or natural apple puree
  • 1 cup plain Greek-style yogurt
  • 1/2 cup natural apple juice
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/3 cup Apple Cinnamon Cheerios™ cereal
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Four ice cubes

Directions

  • 1
    Place all the ingredients in the blender and process until you have a smoothie.
  • 2
    Serve in a glass and sprinkle with cinnamon.
