Directions

  • 1 Wash and dry the lettuce, chop it as you like. Serve on individual plates.
  • 2 Cut the chicken breast into small cubes and skewer them. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 3 Heat up a griddle or a grill and spray it with vegetable oil. Cook the chicken skewers for approximately 4 minutes on each side, or until they're brown (the cooking time will depend on the size of the pieces of chicken).
  • 4 Grate the cheese with a vegetable slicer, or use grated cheese.
  • 5 Add croutons, cheese, and dressing to each plate. Serve with the chicken skewers.
  • 6 You can substitute fish fillet or pork loin for the chicken.

Caesar salad is very simple and versatile, and also very delicious. It's one of my favorite weeknight dinners. I can make it quickly and jazz it up with some chicken skewers or smoked salmon.
