Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom only of 8- or 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • 2 Make brownie mix as directed on box, using pouch of chocolate syrup, water, oil and egg. Spread batter in pan.
  • 3 Bake as directed on box for 8- or 9-inch pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • 4 In microwavable bowl, stir frosting and preserves. Microwave uncovered on High about 20 seconds or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Pour into fondue pot. Keep warm over low heat, and serve within 1 hour.
  • 5 Cut brownies into squares. Spear brownies and fruit with fondue forks; dip in fondue.
