Artichokes are delicious veggies that are very popular during the winter. One of the preparations I enjoy most is soups, so I’ve decided to prepare a tasty artichoke cream.

Ingredients

  • 4 artichokes
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (optional)
  • 2 cups olive oil
  • Diced ham
  • Salt

Directions

    Peel and cut the artichokes as you usually do.
  • 2
    Add the olive oil to a bowl with the artichokes. Cover in plastic wrap and place them in the microwave for 10 minutes.

    When the olive oil begins to boil and the artichokes are tender, use a skimmer to remove the artichoke and add them to a deep pot. Add salt to taste and/or water if you like.

    Use a blender to whip until creamy. Use a colander if necessary. Add chunks of ham and serve.
