The beginning of November coincides with one of the most traditional holidays in Latin America: the Day of the Dead. From a culinary point of view, it’s a celebration that tastes like fusion. And that’s because it combines native customs with the beliefs of the Catholic Spanish colonizers who once ruled Latin America.
This year, my kids, my husband and I have a unique opportunity: to celebrate and experience El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in my parents’ native town in Mexico.
