I was born and raised in Mexico City. I was 6 years old when I started making tortillas in my mini tortilla press, the one I still have. I have been always interested in food, so studying Culinary Arts and Food Science was a perfect fit for me.
Thirteen years ago, looking for a better future, I left my beloved Mexico and moved to the United States. Now I can say I have the best job I could ever dream of: Cooking by being Food Editor for Qué Rica Vida.
I love living, cooking, breathing and writing about the flavors of the world, and especially Latin American. Food is my passion!
